Finnish courses

Finnish is spoken in Finland and is a member of the Fino -Ugric languages. It is an agglutinant language that changes the form of the noun and of the adjective, depending on their role in the sentence.

There are two types of dialects: eastern and western and two languages: yleiskieli (the official language) and puhekieli (the spoken language).

Along the centuries, Finnish borrowed so many words that there are almost 300 words with entire Finnish roots.
