Serbian language courses at Echo

Serbian language bases itself on the Shtokavian dialect, and uses both the Cyrilic, as well as the Latin alphabet, respectively Azbuka and Abeceda, and s the only Indo-European language to use this method of combining letters.

Serbian literature appeared in Medieval times, and very little has been kept of it.

Due to the fact that Serbia and the neighboring countries are close, Serbian has both lent, as well as borrowed. Also, Turkish, German, Italian, Greek and Hungarian have also had important influences on it. Turkish influenced the vocabulary of Serbian with almost 8.000 words.

English borrowed from Serbian two words – vampire and paprika.

You can enroll in Serbian language courses at Echo School of Languages, either individually, or in corporate courses at your company premises.
